Coleen Weeks - Owner
Coleen has had an extensive career starting and managing varied businesses. A graduate of Georgia State University, Coleen began her career in municipal finance at Merrill Lynch in New York. From there she moved to San Francisco and started a small business converting hand accounting systems to the computer for medical device, printing press and small construction companies among others. She then worked for one of the partners at Montgomery Medical Ventures as a "startup" specialist which involved everything from incorporating, setting up accounting and office procedures, purchasing furniture, computers and supplies, hiring, training and managing all personnel. In 1993, Coleen became a co-founder and the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Embarcadero Technologies, Inc., a database tools company in San Francisco. She remained with Embarcadero through its IPO, retired in the fall of 2000 and moved to Granite Bay in 2001.
